It is pleasure to meet you again in 2024 for the 12th edition of Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit. On behalf of the GMFH Scientific Committee, I am happy to welcome you in Washington, D.C., on March 23 & 24, 2024.
The Summit is sponsored by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and European Society for Neurogastroenterology & Motility (ESNM), with the endorsement of the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS).
This is an exciting time for the gut microbiome field on the heels of the first FDA approvals for microbiome therapeutics. The 2024 program is dedicated to “Crossing the threshold from lab to life: Clinical and dietary manipulation of the human gut microbiome for better health.” Plenary sessions and breakout workshops will explore the burgeoning horizon of applications of the microbiome to improve health. Speakers will present a range of scenarios regarding harnessing the microbiome along with logistical and regulatory hurdles to their implementation in practice.
The Summit’s interdisciplinary scientific program targets a broad audience from microbiome scientists to healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, dietitians, and nutritionists.
