Suzanne Devkota, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Gastroenterology division at Cedars Sinai Medical Centre (USA), is interested about the convergence of food, health and our gut microbiota. Interviewed at the 8th Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit 2019, Prof. Devkota explains that microbiota changes not only will be observed when an individual goes from an omnivorous diet to a vegetarian one, but two people do not respond in the same way to the same diet. Multiple studies in humans reach the same conclusion: there is no a one-size-fits-all diet.
