Just two months away from the fifth edition of this international scientific event, we look back at the best of the last edition sharing a report on GMFH 2015 with you.

The world’s biggest experts in gut microbiota will meet again during the 5th Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit. The science community’s increasing interest in the bacteria found in our guts and the important role they play in our health led to the success of previous editions, held in EvianMadridMiami and Barcelona. This year, it’s Miami’s turn once again, with the event being held on 5 and 6 March.

Once again, the event is jointly organised by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and theEuropean Society for Neurogastroenterology and Motility (ESNM), along with its satellite organisations, the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO) and the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN), with the support of Danone and Biocodex.

The event’s aim is to share and analyse the latest progress made in the world of gut microbiota and the outlook for the future of the field. The sessions that will take place during the summit will be led by almost 30 speakers from 8 different countries and will discuss issues that include diet and gut microbiota, digestive health and probiotics and prebiotics. The full programme can be found on the event’s website.  Online registration is open!
