COVID-19 vaccination policy
As of February 15, 2022, Washington, D.C. no longer requires that indoor venues verify vaccination status of guests and patrons. However, AGA will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all attendees who will be in our meeting space. Please show your proof of vaccination when you pick up your name badge at the GMFH registration desk.
- Acceptable forms of proof include a CDC issued vaccination card (original, photocopy or digital copy), record of immunization from a healthcare provider or public health authority, or a COVID-19 verification app (such as VaxYes, Clear, Excelsior, MyIR).
- If you are unable to take the vaccine due to a medical or religious exemption, you will need to have documentation from a medical provider. Religious exemptions will be communicated upon check-in to the Hotel. All patrons with an exemption will be required to show photo identification and documentation of a negative PCR or antigen test within the last 24 hours in order to enter the meeting space, restaurants and gym. Acceptable documentation includes digital results from a healthcare provider or a photo of the negative test.
Masking Policy
As of March 1, 2022, Washington D.C. no longer requires that masks be worn inside indoor venues. Staff at the Renaissance Hotel who are not vaccinated will continue to wear a mask. AGA encourages that attendees wear a mask in our meeting space. Complimentary masks and personal containers of hand sanitizer will be available to attendees at the GMFH registration desk.
