THE GUT MICROBIOTA FOR HEALTH SUMMIT

Washington, DC, March 12-13, 2022

On behalf of the GMFH Scientific Committee, I invite you to join us in D.C. or online on March 12 & 13, 2022 for the tenth edition of the Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit. The summit is sponsored by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the European Society for Neurogastroenterology & Motility (ESNM) and is endorsed by the American Neurogastroenterology & Motility Society (ANMS).

I am particularly excited for the 2022 program, which will focus on the uniqueness of our gut microbiomes and advances in personalized approaches to modifying the gut microbiome for promoting health and mitigating disease. As always, we will have an outstanding international faculty throughout four plenary sessions and four workshops. Due to the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be offering a virtual registration option and will livestream all plenary sessions with opportunities for additional engagement through the GMFH meeting app.

The GMFH Summit is a one-of-a-kind meeting curating the latest breakthroughs in gut microbiome research for busy health care professionals. Our objective is to translate the science in a way that it is immediately useful for you in conversations with your patients. We hope that health care professionals across all disciplines — physicians, dietitians, nutritionists, advanced practice providers and researchers — will join us for an interdisciplinary discussion.

I look forward to interacting with you all in Washington, D.C. or online. In the meantime, I encourage you to explore the Gut Microbiota for Health platform and follow us on Twitter: @GMFHx.

Sincerely,

Gail A. Hecht, MD, MS
