Dr. Gary D. Wu is a Professor in Gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania and currently Director and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the American Gastroenterological Association Center for Gut Microbiome Research and Education. His research examines interactions between gut microbiota and host, particularly focusing on diet and metabolism.

Dr. Wu gave a talk at Experimental Biology 2015 called, “Diet and the Intestinal Microbiome: Associations, Functions, and Implications for Health and Disease“.
