Over 300 researchers, physicians, dietitians and other healthcare professionals gathered in Rome (Italy), last March, for the 7th edition of the Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit 2018. They discussed the latest developments in the field of gut microbiota and their application to clinical practice. With Prof. Fernando Azpiroz as Chair of the Scientific Committee, the summit was co-organized by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the European Society for Neurogastroenterology & Motility (ESNM), and the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN).
