It’s almost here—March 10th and 11th, a weekend of learning about the gut microbiota and health from leaders in the field! On these days, a group of over 300 researchers, physicians, dietitians, and others will gather in Rome (Italy) to discuss the latest developments in the field of gut microbiota and its role on health and their applications to clinical practice.

If you’re not able to join this diverse group in Rome, you can still follow all the developments! The plenary sessions will be live-streamed from our website at the following times (all times in CET):

Saturday, March 10th

From 9:00 am to 12.30 pm: Food-Microbes-Host Interactions in the Human Gut and Microbiota and Cancer sessions.

Sunday, March 11th

From 9:00 am to 12.30 pm: New Insights on Microbiome Therapeutics session, the report of the Saturday workshops and a lecture on the emerging oral-gut-liver axis.

If you’re short on time, you can also get the highlights of the Gut Summit on Twitter! Follow our live tweeting from the @GMFHx account and search the hashtag #GMFH2018. Our Twitter community was strong during last year’s Summit, with the Summit hashtag generating over 5 million impressions!

Selected talks will also be available after the Gut Summit 2018—you can access these by visiting our ‘media center’ online and finding the ‘replay’ section.

Are you a part of our digital community yet? We keep you informed of important developments in the field through both the News Watch blog, covering gut microbiota related topics for the general public (in English, French, and Spanish), and the Research & Practice blog, covering topics for researchers and health professionals. You can get all the updates in one place by signing up for our regular newsletter. Also, check out our social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube) to stay in the loop.

We look forward to continued conversations on gut microbiota and health!
