About Nathalie Rolhion

Nathalie Rolhion is a senior INSERM scientist based in Paris, France. She specialises in deciphering host-microbiota interactions in health and inflammatory bowel diseases, with the aim of improving our understanding of their role in pathogenesis and developing innovative treatments. In the lab, she has set up tools for culturing human gut microbiota in vitro to study the interactions (competition and cooperation) between microorganisms (bacteria, fungi and phages).
