Immune system

It is generally known as the body’s defence system against infectious organisms and other invaders. It is made up of a network of cells, tissues and specialized organs that communicate with each other and act thru a cascade of biological reactions that involves mainly cytokines. The aim of this immune response is the destruction and elimination of the detected agent in order to prevent it from causing any harm to the host.
